Jeff Fraser, J.D.

Practice Areas: Family Mediation

Jeff Fraser, J.D. (Boston College Law School) is a practicing lawyer and partner with Fraser and Galanopoulos in Wellesley. He has thirty years of experience in private practice including personal injury, divorce, wills, probate, intellectual property, and real estate law.

Jeff has worked as a professional mediator since 1994 and has served on the panels of the Middlesex, Norfolk, and Suffolk Superior Court mediation programs, as well as The Panel of Mediators of the Massachusetts Office of Dispute Resolution and the Boston Municipal Court. He has extensive training as a professional mediator, having completed intensive programs conducted by the Office of Dispute Resolution and by Divorce Mediation Training Associates, Inc.

From his legal and mediation practice, Jeff has specialized knowledge in the fields of psychology, psychiatry, special education, dentistry, and lead paint injuries. He has very personal experience with the diagnosis of developmental disabilities in children, including learning disabilities, cognitive deficits, emotional disorders, and attention deficit disorder. Jeff is also very familiar with the issues and emotional dynamics arising in multi-party estate cases and family business disputes.

Jeff is a member of the Massachusetts Bar and the United States District Court Bar. He is also a member of the Massachusetts Council on Family Mediation, the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys, the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, and the Massachusetts Bar Association. He received his B.A. from Boston College, magna cum laude, in 1973 and his J.D. from Boston College Law School in 1976.
