Jeff Fraser, J.D. (Boston College Law School) is a practicing lawyer and partner with Fraser and Galanopoulos in Newton. He has over thirty years of experience in private practice including personal injury, divorce, wills, probate, business, intellectual property, and real estate law. He has also recently been involved in helping individuals and businesses comply with the new Data Security laws.
Mr. Fraser has worked as a professional mediator since 1994, serving on the panels of the Middlesex, Norfolk, and Suffolk Superior Court mediation programs and the Massachusetts Office of Dispute Resolution. He has extensive mediation experience in all types of civil cases. At The Mediation Group, Mr. Fraser has focused on cases involving divorce, and estate, adult sibling, and family disputes. He has co-mediated many high conflict cases, often working in a team with a therapist/mediator, and is very familiar with both the legal issues and the emotional dynamics arising in multi-party estate cases and family business disputes.
From his legal and mediation practice, Mr. Fraser has specialized knowledge in the fields of psychology, psychiatry, and dentistry. He also has personal and professional experience with the diagnosis and treatment of developmental disabilities in children, and the diagnosis and treatment of adult mental health disorders.
Mr. Fraser is a member of the Massachusetts Bar and the United States District Court Bar. He is also a member of the Massachusetts Council on Family Mediation, the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys, the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, and the Massachusetts Bar Association.
