  • Real Estate

Flávio joined TMG as a fellow in August 2021. During his yearlong fellowship, Flávio observed dozens of mediations with some of Boston’s most prominent mediators, dealing with a variety of complex legal issues. He has also co-mediated several cases with senior TMG mediators, utilizing his multi-lingual abilities and interpersonal skills to help clients from diverse backgrounds come to a resolution. These experiences enabled Flávio to see various mediation styles and discover which strategies worked best for particular situations as he honed his skills as a mediator. He now uses those skills to resolve disputes of all manner and difficulty.

In his day job, Flávio helms his own legal practice, specializing in the intricate domain of Immigration Law. His fluency in both Portuguese and Spanish allows him to proficiently assist clients across a spectrum of legal complexities. His understanding of the immigration process and his diverse client base gives him a unique advantage in mediations that involve underlying immigration issues and cultural differences. Additionally, Flávio extends his impact on the North Shore community as a dedicated board member at The Resolution Center, a revered non-profit entity committed to community welfare through mediation and conflict resolution services. In this capacity, Flávio actively contributes to the governance and the orchestration of fundraising initiatives, financing solutions, and strategic planning, further expanding his commitment to conflict resolution.

Flávio is a graduate of Roger Williams University, magna cum laude, where he received a degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Psychology, and Roger Williams University School of Law. In his free time, Flávio enjoys playing soccer, cooking up new recipes, working on DIY projects, and traveling to new destinations with his family.
