Rachel Honoroff, LCSW, is a family mediator at TMG and brings experience in the field of clinical social work with expertise in supporting individuals and families affected by high-conflict relationships.
Based in New York, Rachel is a psychotherapist in private practice and provides clinical consultation and supervision for mental health professionals. She specializes in working with individuals and families that have experienced trauma, with a focus on relational trauma.
Rachel completed mediation training at the New York Peace Institute and obtained her masters degree in social work from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College in New York City. Her advanced training focused on child trauma and treatment using evidence-based, mindfulness, and somatic approaches. She has experience working in residential and outpatient settings and with child welfare and community based organizations.
Drawing from clinical experience and therapeutic skills, Rachel empowers individuals in mediation to move through what might feel stuck or insurmountable by helping to facilitate effective communication, guiding towards understanding of other’s perspectives and bringing forth relevant needs and feelings - opening opportunities for change and resolution
